Anders Jacobsen, who suffered a serious knee injury when he fell at the World Cup final in Planica about two weeks ago, will have to undergo surgery on May 20th.

Exciting final on the home stretch

The last three minutes of the ski jumping World Cup 2012/13 were characteristic of the whole winter, it was as exciting as never before. 50th win in the World Cup for Gregor Schlierenzauer

Gregor Schlierenzauer is in a league of his own. With his 50th win in the World cup on the ski flying hill in Planica the Austrian not only won the overall World Cup, but also the ski flying World Cup this season. 217.5 m and 213.5 m and a total of 412.2 points earned him a clear win. Slovenia's Peter Prevc and Piotr Zyla of Poland came in second and third on Friday.

Anders Jacobsen won the final qualification of the World Cup season 2012/13 in Planica. Only close behind the Norwegian, Antonin Hajek of the Czech Republic and Germany's Severin Freund shared the second place.

Sarah Hendrickson wins World Cup final in Oslo

Grand finale at the Holmenkollen: The Ladies' World Cup had a worthy final competition on he large hill in Oslo. The win in the premiere at this traditional location went to Sarah Hendrickson, ahead of Sara Takanashi and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger.

After a fantastic competition Austrian Gregor Schlierenzauer and Poland's Piotr Zyla shared the win at the famous Holmenkollen in Oslo. Robert Kranjec of Slovenia came in third.

COC-M: Rok Justin the best again

The 2012/13 season of the Continental Cup ended on Sunday with another competition on the normal hill in Nizhny Tagil. Because the cooling system didn't work on both hills, the jury decided to make use of the ceramic track and so this season's final competition could be carried out in Russia.

COC-M: First win for Rok Justin

The season's final of the Continental Cup takes place in Nizhny Tagil this weekend. These are the first international competitions in the new Russian ski jumping center. The first competition on Saturday was held on the normal hill instead of the large hill due to strong wind.

It was definitely the weekend of Irina Avvakumova in Oernskoeldsvik, Sweden.
