Sarah Hendrickson once again proved her outstanding shape towards the end of the season and won the event in Oslo. She posted a strong jump on 133.5 m in the first round and took the lead at half time. Sara Takanashi jumped on 134 m, but due to less judges' marks she was second, 1.9 points behind. "It was a huge honor to jump on the large hill together with the men in front of such a crowd. It's still hard to find the right words. The bigger the hill, the better it is for me. I love ski jumping more and more every day and I'll remember this day for a very long time", said Hendrickson. "I had two very good jumps today, but my telemark landings are not so good right now. I'll try to improve that for next season", Takanashi said about her jumps, but still she was happy about the second place.

Behind the two outstanding athletes, the others fought for the third place. Austrian Jacqueline Seifriedsberger came in third with 123.5 m and 125.5 m (233.9 points). "I love ski jumping and it went very well for me this season. I didn't do anything special to prepare for it, just a lot of mental, physical and technical training and it showed a positive development. The two Sara(h)s are jumping on a great level and it will be hard work to get there as well. But maybe it works until Sochi when I train hard and give my best", told Seifriedsberger.
