As the Norwegian newspaper "VG" reports, head coach Alexander Stoeckl extented his contract with the Norwegian Ski Association until 2015.

The Austrian took the job as coach of the national team 2011 as predecessor of Mika Kojonkoski and with the overall World Cup title of Anders Bardal he could already celebrate a major success in his first year.

When he started his job in Norway Stoeckl signed a two-year contract with the option of three more years, now it was decided to extend the contract with the 39-year-old.  So he will be coaching the Norwegian jumpers until the Nordic World Championships in Falun 2015.

"It was important for both partners that we decided this now. If the discussion about the new contract would have continued throughout the season it would have cost energy", Alex Stoeckl said to the news agency NTB.
