Sochi on Friday, 30.11.2012

"For the necessary snow was transported to the hill from a special snow depot over the past four days. We know have a snow reserve of 3000 cubic meters. In addition we can also produce artificial snow under temperatures above zero. So we hope that we can also have fresh snow on the hill, above the snow of the depot", the organizers told FISskijumping.com.

In the inrun there is a 1.5 cm thick ice track right now and it shall get up to 2 cm, what is considered perfect by the producers of the track.

This means that nothing shall stand in the way of a successful World Cup premiere in Sochi.

The four FIS World Cup competitions on the HS 105 hill (2 men's and 2 ladies' events) will take place on December 8 and 9 and are the final test for the Olympic Winter Games 2014.
