opprettet på: 02.03.2012 12:31 / km

This weekend three competitions will be held in Zao (JPN). 100 points can be scored for the overall World Cup in each of the competitions, two on Saturday and one on Sunday. After the events in the prefecture Yamagata there will only be the World Cup final in Oslo left.

This means that if 17-year-old Sarah Hendrickson of USA, who know has a lead of 211 points ahead of Austrian Daniela Iraschko, will have more than 100 points of it left after the events Japan, she will already crown herself first ever overall World Cup winner in women's ski jumping.

But the focus is also on the newly crowned Junior World Champion Sara Takanashi, who of course wants to win in front of her home crowd. But Takanashi is only seventh in the overall WorldCup ranking, so it will only be about good results for her.

Competitions of the Ladies' Continental Cup are already held in Zao since 2006. Last year the victory went to local hero Yuki Ito. This year the first World Cup will take place there.
