World Cup in Sapporo is coming up. The team for the weekend is Anders Bardal, Vegard Sklett and Rune Velta, who is going down to meet Stjernen, Elverum Sorsell, Fannemel and Ingvaldsen who participated in the COC in Sapporo last weekend.
There are three jumpers from the team that has participated in the World Cup this season and four from the COC team, which also did very well last weekend in Sapporo. What is the reason for this team?
- Bardal, Sklett and Velta are all fit and ready for the weekend in Sapporo. The COC boys showed impressive performance last weekend, and since it is usually COC races in Sapporo before the World Cup we often use this weekend so some of the COC guys gets a chance in the world cup. Atle and Kenneth has also been participated in the World Cup, but it's okay to give them a little break now.
- This journey is challenging, it's a long way, and there is a large time difference, So it is a particularly tough journey for athletes who are not in shape. That is why Remen Evensen and Romøren are home now, so they can traine more. But for athletes in the shape this journey is just fine.
