The equipment of a ski jumper consists of a jumping suit, a helmet, jumping boots, skis, the bindings and goggles.

 

A competitor may only take part in a FIS Competition with equipment which conforms to the FIS regulations.

 

The equipment is controlled during a competition on a random basis. If it doesn't meet the requirements it results in a disqualification of the athlete.

 

A competitor is responsible for the equipment he uses.
