Z powodu obfitych opadów śniegu w sobotę organizatorzy w Rena nie byli w stanie przygotować dużej skoczni do zaplanowanego konkursu. Zawody rozegrano więc na skoczni normalnej.
The victory in this competition, that was postponed from the afternoon to the evening, went to Michael Hayboeck of Austria with his jumps on 111.5 m and 10 6 m and a total of 276.7 points. It was the eighth win in the COC for the 23-year-old.
Jernej Damjan of Slovenia, winner of the first competition in Rena on Friday, again showed two strong jumps with 111 m and 107.5 m and came in second this time with 268.3 points.

Manuel Poppinger of Austria was able to repeat his third place from Friday's competition with two jumps on 106 m and 257.7 points.
Only 17-year-old Slovene Anze Lanisek was third after the first round, at the end he missed the podium by only 0.5 points and came in fourth.
Like already on Friday, veteran Martin Schmitt was the best of the German athletes also in this competition. The former overall World Cup winner was fifth. The sixth place went to Thomas Diethart, another athlete of the strong Austrian team this weekend.
Robert Hrgota complete the also very good result of the Slovenian jumpers as eighth. Daniel Wenig of Germany (9th) and the best of the Polish team, Stefan Hula (10th). also achieved Top 10 results.
After the first two competitions of the season, Jernej Damjan leads in the overall ranking of the COC with 180 points, followed by Michael Hayboeck (150 points) and Manuel Poppinger (120 points).
