opprettet på: 11.02.2013 10:20 / km

The Slovenian jumpers are presenting themselves in a great shape right now, not only in the World Cup, but also in the Continental Cup. Like already in the second competition on Saturday, the athletes of Slovenia were also the best on Sunday in Iron Mountain.

19-year-old Anze Semenic repeated his win from the day before and celebrated a clear win on the Pine Mountain hill with his jumps on 138.5 m and 129.5 m and a total of 275.4 points.

“This is great! My jumps went really well today and I’m very happy with how I did. The hill and the atmosphere were amazing again. Iron Mountain has been great and I hope to be back again soon.”

His teammate Andraz Pograjc posted jumps on 128 m and 124.5 m and with 252.5 points he finished second, this is a career best for the 21-year-old.

Only one point behind, Matic Benedik completed the outstanding result of the Slovenes in this competition. With 124.5 m and 128 m he landed on a shared third place with Felix Schoft of Germany (122.5 m and 130 m).

Poland's Klemens Muranka (5th) and Fredrik Bjerkeengen of Norway (6th), who won the first competition in Iron Mountain, missed the podium by tiny margins. They were only 0.2 and 0.4 points behind the Top 3.
