The second competition of the Continental Cup weekend in Titisee-Neustadt (GER) was decided after only one round. After some delays the jury cancelled the final round after only six jumpers due to the strong wind.

So Austrian Manuel Fettner celebrated a clear win with the longest jump of the day on 136 m and a total of 135.3 points. For the 27-year-old this was his third with this winter, after he won both competitions in Bischofshofen last week.

"I'm very satisfied today, my jump was better than yesterday. I think it was the right decision to cancel the final round because it would have been lottery. I think I have a good chance to compete in the World Cup again and hopefully I can come here for the World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt in December", said Fettner.

The second place was shared by two athletes. Kim Rene Elverum Sorsell of Norway and Slovenia's Rok Justin both jumped on 131 m and scored a total of 124.8 points. "My jump today was very good and I also had some luck with the wind. The hill here is very nice and I enjoy coming here", told Justin.

Only 17-year-old Dominik Maylaender achieved a top result in his second COC competition. He came in fourth and was the best German jumper on Sunday.

Atle Pedersen Roensen as fith and the winner of Saturday's competition, Fredrik Bjerkeengen (6th) completed the great team results of the Norwegians in today's event in the Black Forest.

Andraz Pograjc of Slovenia and German Pius Paschke came in seventh. With Daniel Althaus as ninth and Ziga Mandl as tenth, not only Norway but also the teams of Germany and Slovenia could place three athletes in the Top 10.

Nick Alexander of the USA, third in Saturday's competition, did not take part today because of knee problems.

Norway's Kim Rene Elverum Sorsell is now in the lead in the overall ranking of the COC with 384 points, close ahead of Manuel Fettner (380 points) and Felix Schoft (369 points).
