The wind is not only causing problems at the ski flying World Championships in Vikersund (NOR). Also at the Continental Cup in Wisla the second round on Saturday evening had to be cancelled due to the strong wind.

After only one round on the Adam-Malysz-Hill the victory went to Austrian Manuel Fettner with the longest jump of the day on 131 m and 132.8 points. "I'm very satisfied with my result today, I had a great jump. I'm very happy that the second round was cancelled because it didn't make much sense and so it was the right decision", said Fettner.

Only close behind the winner, Robert Johansson of Norway captured the second place with 129.5 m and 131.6 points. "It was a really good competition for me. I had a very good jump and probably I was also lucky with the conditions."

With 128.5 m and his total of 128.3 points, Slovene Mitja Meznar came in third. "I'm very happy about my second podium result this season. I still have some room for improvement in my jumps so I hope I can do even better tomorrow."

The fourth place went to Martin Cikl of the Czech Republic, followed by Tomaz Naglic of Slovenia and Austrian Manuel Poppinger.

Former 4-Hills-Tournament winner Wolfgang Loitzl, who is struggeling with his shape this winter and couldn't compete in the World Cup recently because of health problems, shared the seventh place with Kenneth Gangnes (NOR).

Klaus Ovlien Engen (9th) and Marco Grigoli and Sami Niemi (tied for 10th) completed the Top 10 in Poland.

Norway's Andreas Stjernen is still in the lead in the overall ranking of the COC with 937 points, followed by Michael Hayboeck (833 points) and Kenneth Gangnes (714 points).
