Anders Jacobsen will start a comeback and he wants to compete in the World Cup again next season. This was announced by the Norwegian on Wednesday at the Ski Flying World Championships in Vikersund.
"The fire is back again"
The former 4-Hills-Tournament winner has announced his retirement from the national team last spring because of motivational problems. After he already took part in the Norwegian Championships early February and finished on good sixth place, the motivations for competitive sports is now back.

"Back then I didn't have that inner drive anymore, but I miss it and the fire is back again", Jacobsen said to the Norwegian TV channel NRK. Also the good result at the national championships showed him, that he still has the potential to be among the best.
Training starts on Monday
The 27-year-old, who is working as a ski jumping expert for Norwegian television this season, will now focus on the sport again.
"I will start training again full-time on Monday. I don't expect that I'll be welcomed back to the national team with open arms, that's something I have to work hard for again", Jacobsen said on vg.no.
