His teammate Kenneth Gangnes captured the second place with 101 m and 100.5 m (254.0 points). "I'm satisfied with my jumping today. It got better and better and I hope I can keep that up tomorrow."

With 100 m and 99.5 m the third place went to Germany's Danny Queck. "I'm very proud of this result. I was also in a good shape in the last competitions but the result was not right. Now I'm looking forward to tomorrow."

Michael Hayboeck of Austria was fourth, followed by the second-best German Markus Eisenbichler, who shared the fifth place with Norwegian Atle Pedersen Roensen.

The best Slovene, Mitja Meznar, finished seventh, ahead of Ole Marius Ingvaldsen of Norway and Poland's Stefan Hula. Vegard Swensen was tenth and so five Norwegian jumpers were in the Top 10 in this event.

In the overall ranking Andreas Stjernen and Michael Hayboeck (both 737 points) now share the lead. Kenneth Gangnes is third with 553 points.
