Anders Bardal wrote yesterday on his website that he had taken his first training jump in Granåsen this winter. He could tell about wonderful winter conditions and a very well-prepared ground.
- It is nice to get to jump her in Granåsen, since we eventually is going to jump both the norwegian championship and World Cup here, says Bardal.
We are really looking forward to the World Cup in Trondheim, and organizers have worked hard to make arrengement as best it can be. - It is important to arrange a great World Cup place on March 8, and it is equally important to make good plans for further development of the hill, writes Morten Wolden about Granåsen resorts. It has taken several measures in recent years that have great significance:
• The change of slopes with a new and modern profile has made Granåsen very popular in the international ski community.
• Byåsen IL has with an incredible volunteer efforts put in place a modern recruitment system for all age groups.
• Construction of the National Sports Center is in full swing.
• Establishment of the event company Granåsen Aktivum have so far been a success.
• The first part of the new roller ski trail in the plant can take place in the summer.
