The winning streak of Sarah Hendrickson continues. After three victories in a row in the World Cup, she now also won the first Continental Cup in Zakopane.
The 17-year-old overall World Cup leader from Park City won with the longest jump in both rounds on 89 m and 89.5 m and 234.5 points. "I'm very excited, I think I can still jump better. The weather was perfect, the wind was very fair so it was a very good competition."
The second place went to World Champion Daniela Iraschko from Austria with 88 m and 85 m (228.0 points). "I jumped much better in training so it wasn't a good competition for me. Sarah has a lot of self-confidence and it was not hard to beat me today. There will be another chance tomorrow."
