Also on Thursday, the third official training day for the ladies at the WSC in Val di Fiemme, almost all athletes took part in the training rounds. The top favorites Sara Takanashi (JPN) and Sarah Hendrickson (USA) once again lived up to their role and proved that they will be the ones to beat in tomorrow's individual competition. Defening champion Daniela Iraschko of Austria, who can't take part in the Championships due to injury, visited her colleagues today at the training.

Japanese Sara Takanashi showed the longest jump of the first training round with 101 m. She was followed by Sarah Hendrickson of the USA with 99 m. Elena Runggaldier (ITA), Anette Sagen (NOR), Yuki Ito (JPN) and Evelyn Insam (ITA) showed good jumps and were also among the best. Chiara Hoelzl and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger of Austria and the German jumpers, who didn't jump at all today, did not take part in this round.

While Sara Takanashi was only eighth with 92.5 m in the second round, Sarah Hendrickson showed the longest jump of the day with 102 m. "It doesn't mean that much, that I jumped a few meters longer than Sara. It's still training and tomorrow will be when it counts", Hendrickson said. Also Jacqueline Seifriedsberger (99.5 m), Coline Mattel and Anette Sagen (both with 96.5 m) and Lindsey Van (USA) with a jump on 95 m showed good performances.

The Junior World Champions of Slovenia didn't jump that well yet on the hill in Predazzo. Maja Vtic, Ursa Bogataj, Spela Rogelj and Katja Pozun were not close to the Top 10 with their jumps today.
