COC-M: Gregor Deschwanden captures first win
After the first competition on Friday was held on the normal hill, Saturday's and Sunday's events will take placeon the large hill in Sapporo. The win on Saturday went to Gregor Deschwanden, follwed by Ole Marius Ingvaldsen and Felix Schoft.
The 21-year-old Swiss showed jumps on 135.5 m and 131.5 m on the Okurayama-hill and with 275.1 points he could capture the first win of his career in the COC. "I could show two good jumps today and also had good wind. It's a nice hill here", said the winner.

Ole Marius Ingvaldsen of Norway was in the lead ahead of Deschwanden after the first round, at the end his 269.1 points (134 m and 128 m) were enough for the second place, his best result this season. "It was a good day. The first jump was better than the second one. The wind was nice and the jumps were almost perfect", told Ingvaldsen.
The winner of Friday's competition, Felix Schoft, came in third on Saturday, but with 239.6 points he was clearly behind the best two. The athlete of Partenkirchen jumped on 128 m and 119 m. "My jumps were good again today", said Schoft, who is on his way to achieve his goals here in Sapporo. "In the Continental Cup I want to constantly finish in the Top 10 or be on the podium."

Okabe among the best
Miran Zupancic of Slovenia was fourth and missed the podium by only one point. A very famous name finished fifth: 42-year-old veteran Takanobu Okabe, who was not far behind the podium with his total of 236.1 points.
Slovene Andraz Pograjc showed the thrid-best performance in the final round and could move up from 16th to sixth. Lukas Mueller, second on Friday, was again the best Austrian. This time he came in seventh.
Behind Kim Rene Elverum Sorsell of Norway (8th), Ernest Prislic and Nejc Dezman completed the strong team performance of Slovenia as ninth and tenth. So the team had four jumpers in the Top 10 today.
Kraft still in the lead
Austrian Stefan Kraft, who is competing in the World Cup again this weekend, is still leading in the overall ranking with 345 points. Felix Schoft is now second with 271 points, follwed by Ole Marius Ingvaldsen (265 points).
