Romoeren made his debut in the FIS World Cup on March 3rd, 2001 with a 35th place on the Ski Flying hill in Oberstdorf


... on January 6th, 2003, he celebrated his first World Cup victory in Bischofshofen (AUT)


... a few weeks later, he achieved his first medal at a major event: team Bronze at the Worlds in Predazzo (ITA)


... 2004, he won team Gold at the Ski Flying World Championships in Planica (SLO)


... he was third in the overall World Cup 2003/04


... 2005 he placed third with the team at the World Championships in Oberstdorf (GER)


... on March 20th, 2005, Romoeren jumped 239 m in Planica (SLO) and set a new ski flying world record


... 2006, the Norwegian team (including Romoeren) placed third at the Torino Olympic Winter Games and won Gold at the Ski Flying Worlds in Bad Mitterndorf (AUT)


... 2008, he fell badly in Predazzo but did get injured and he placed third with the team at the Ski Flying World Championships in Oberstdorf (GER)


... 2010, he was runner-up in the team event at the Ski Flying World Championships in Planica (SLO)
