With a ninth place at the Four Hills competition in Oberstdorf (GER) on December 29th, 2002, Thomas Morgenstern made an impressive entry in the FIS World Cup scene, 13 days later, he achieved his first World Cup victory in Liberec, Czech Republic


... since the season 2003/04, Morgenstern has always placed in the Top Ten in the Overall World Cup


... he was part of the team at the World Championships in Oberstdorf in 2005, winning the Team events from the Normal and Large Hill


... in 2006, Morgenstern was the star in Torino: at the Olympic Winter Games, he won the Large Hill competition and outscored teammate Andreas Kofler by just 0.1 points, he won also the team competition


... 2007, he was first at the World Championships in the team event and third in the Normal Hill competition


... Morgenstern won the 2007/08 Overall World Cup by 233 points in front of Gregor Schlierenzauer


... he got team Gold at the 2008 Ski Flying World Championships in Oberstdorf


... in 2009, Morgenstern won Gold in the team event of the World Championships in Liberec, (CZE)


... at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, he added a third Olympic Gold medal to his record; also in 2010, Morgenstern repeated his team victory at the Ski Flying World Championships in Planica (SLO)


... in the 2010/11 season Morgenstern clearly won the overall World Cup and also won the 4-Hills-Tournament for the first time


... at the World Championships 2011 in Oslo he won three Gold (Team NH, LH and Individual NH) and on Silver (Individual LH) medal.


... at the ski flying World Championships 2012 in Vikersund he won Gold with the team, in the same winter he finished second in the 4-Hills-Tournament


... at the World Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme he won Gold with the team and Silver in the mixed team competition
