Career

In the season 2002/03, Andreas Kofler made his first appearances

... in the FIS World Cup, in his third competition in Trondheim, he achieved his first Top Ten result, in his sixth competition his first podium place, rank three in Titisee-Neustadt (GER)

... in the same season, he was fourth in the Four Hills Tournament

... Kofler had to wait until the Olympic 2005/06 season to achieve his first World Cup victory, in Willingen (GER) on 04.02.2006

... two weeks later, at the following Torino 2006 Olympics, Kofler missed Gold in the Large Hill competition only by 0.1 points but got first place in the team competition

... 2007, he was part of the gold-winning squad at the World Championships in Sapporo, Japan

... 2008, he got team gold at the Ski Flying World Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany

... 2009, Kofler went down the rankings, placed only 36th in the overall World Cup and did not make the team for the Liberec World Championships

... coming back strongly in 2009/10, Kofler was the eighth Austrian jumper to win the Four Hills Tournament, was part of the team at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver where he achieved Gold in the team event and fourth place in the Large Hill competition

... at the World Championships 2011 he won two Gold (Team NH, LH) and one Silver medal (Individual NH) 

... at the ski flying World Championships in Vikersund 2012 he won Gold with the team, in the same winter he was third at the 4-Hills-Tournament

... his best result in the overall World Cup is the third place in 2011/12
