Adam Malysz dominates Polish championships

The Polish national championships were held this weekend in Szczyrk and Wisla.
The competition on the normal hill in Szczyrk was won by the favorite Adam Malysz with 262.5 points and 104.5 m and 100 m. The second place went to the serial winner in the Continental Cup, Kamil Stoch, with 255.5 points. 20 points behind, Stefan Hula finished third.
Adam Malysz also clearly won on the large hill in Wisla. The 32-year-old showed jumps of 134.5 m and 130 m on his home hill worth 278.1 points. Kamil Stoch once again assured his position as "Number two" in Poland with 262.2 points. Maciej Kot came in third on Sunday with 131 m and 120 m (249.3 points).

Team-title to Zakopane The victory in the team competition on the normal hill went to AZS Zakopane I with Andrzej Zapotoczny, Krzysztof Mietus, Maciej Kot and Kamil Stoch and 966.5 points. KS Wisla Ustronianka I (Aleksander Zniszczol, Tomasz Byrt, Piotr Zyla, Adam Malysz; 887.5 points) was second, TS Wisla Zakopane I (Klemens Muranka, Marcin Bachleda, Lukasz Rutkowski, Dawid Kubacki; 846.5 points) third. |
