After his victory in the last Continental Cup competition in Iron Mountain, Manuel Fettner could also win both competitions in Zakopane (POL).
The Austrian won the first event with the longest jump in both rounds, 131 m and 134 m, and 278.5 points. "It was a very fair competition under great conditions. I would say that this was my best competition this season", said Fettner, who now hopes that get a place on the Austrian team for the Nordic Tournament.
Maciej Kot from Poland came in second with 266.0 points. "I'm very happy about my second place. I know that some of the best are in Willingen, but good athletes are competing here also."
Austria's David Unterberger was third with 263.0 points and was satisfied with his performance. "I had two good jumps here and I'm happy with the result", he told.
In the second competition Fettner celebrated a clear victory with 133.5 m and 134 m and a total of 282.5 points.
