Sand instead of snow. Whoever was on summer vacation in the beautiful Windischgarsten, shall not be surprised to meet Gregor Schlierenzauer, Wolfgang Loitzl and the rest of the Austrian jumpers on unusual ground. As part of the cooperation between “Volksbank” and the Austrian Ski Association ÖSV three new TV commercials were shot there to continue the very successful first season.
“Already with the first spots we could reach an above-average popularity rating of 1.77. The public profile of our slogan “Volksbank. Mit V wie Fluegel” rose by 29 % to 62 %. And last but not least over 3 000 of our employees shared the thrill at the skijumping event at the Kulm-hill”, Kurt Kaiser, head of marketing at Volksbank, said about the positive effects of the cooperation.
So now Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann conceived three more spots revealing one or the other everyday problem with a wink. Of course these problems are easily solved with the help of Volksbank.
In the first spot dealing with youth accounts the young jumpers lose a beach volleyball game against a team around the coaches Alexander Pointner and Toni Innauer. Due to their financial difficulties they cannot keep their side of the bargain and pay the winners a drink. But the coaches come up with a solution how they could settle their debt even without money. This spot will be shown on TV already early July.
In the second spot about housing subsidy the jumpers literally go through the roof. The gym is just too small for their bounce. There’s also a third spot involving an athletic beach beauty.
Gregor Schlierenzauer: “The shooting was again a lot of fun. At first it’s always a bit strange, but soon we all were completely in our characters. The locations were we shot could not have been more different. On the first day we spent 12 hours in an airless basement without windows, the next day we were enjoyed dream weather at a lake”.
Wolfgang Loitzl: “I really enjoyed shooting the spots for Volksbank. The stories told in the spots are again very funny and that’s also a lot of fun shooting. At the same time this kind of work is pretty exhausting and in the evening I flopped into bed dead tired.”
