There were no surprises in the nomination of the Austrian team for the World Championships. With team leader Martin Koch, who won in Oberstdorf last weekend, five jumpers will travel to Vikersund, where the ski flying Championships are held next weekend.

Like the Germans, also the Austrians didn't nominate a sixth athlete. Besides Koch, Austria will be represented by the ski flying World Champion of 2008, Gregor Schlierenzauer and Thomas Morgenstern, Andreas Kofler and David Zauner.
So Wolfgang Loitzl, Manuel Fettner and Michael Hayboeck will not be on the team.
